And there she was, chrome skinned from the jump, he eyes still jacked with galaxies.

As she glided towards me, the chrome melted away and slithered back into its case.

She had a way about her that didn't belong in a dive like this.

As she sat beside me, she took out a spark and took a long deep drag.

The smoke danced and jived within the light of the ultra-neon and with a slow elegant flick of her wrist, she summoned the bar-droid and ordered a Cosmic.

Straight up!

Turning to me, she asked me my name.

So I gave it!

Her face was still, like a lake lit by moonlight, cool and mysterious.

She took another drag on her spark and blowing the smoke away, scanned the room sly and easy.

I told her there was no need for concern, not many spooks in this universe.

Leaning towards me and speaking in hushed tones, she told me that she wanted me to ghost her so she could hit the big time.

She winked her left eye and there, on her lens was a million hollo-credits, shimmering and pure.

Taking a sip of my Flare, I considered her proposition.

Ghost her and take the mil when she reincarnates or walk away now and exist for eternity?
